Another road for ourselves twisting thru fields of snow and
passing along icelakes: I was hungry, cold and getting tired but smiling ear to ear.
Here we try to warm ourselves with some lukewarm coffee. At least it stays light very
long.
Tuesday. It rains unfortunately. We visited the Jotunheimen
National Parc, Europe's biggest glacier. On the next picture you can see us having made it
to one of the smaller arms of the Jostedalsbreen (glacier) called Suphellerbreen:
Wednesday. Because of the weather we decide to head back to
Stavanger via the west i.o. the east (too much mountain passes). We head for Voss to spend the night at another ICQ
aquantaince, Terje. We took the ferry to Gudvangen to bring us in that direction. This
ferry sails thru the Nærøfjord, one of the narrowest fjords around with mountains
alongside going up to 1200 meters. Standby for spectacular images while we sit on the
sundeck letting these impressive rocks sail by.
