 The runway is located on a mountain ridge which itself is surrounded by even higher mountains. To make it in safe you have to circle down to the runway. |
 But the realy cool thing is that the runway gets shorter every year. The runway end is slowly falling of the mountain as the mountainside is slowly eroding. This is very visible by the large craks in the asphalt. |
 But we made it in safe with our beautifull Aztec. |

 But it wasn't all quiet nature. We had to drop a Dutch instructor of at Atlanta when we got caught in the Atlanta outbound rushhour. Atlanta has four parallel runways. Two were used for landing, two for take offs. For every TO runway, two taxiways were used for the holding aircraft. We were right behind a DC9 and in line with Tristars, 767's and 747's. |
