 Got to see the fireworks for the 4th of July..... |
 While others went to New York in a C172..... |
 ..I had a chance to go to Washington DC in the Aztec. ATC instructed us to stay above the river, clear of the white house. They didn't mention the penalties. I did know they had a big gun on that white house. |
 Staying above the river made the approach a Hong-Kong like challenge. We were instructed to land on the runway beginning at the left side of the picture. |
 Still turning Arno aligns us with runway 21 at Washington. |
 On the way back we refueled at Charlotte... |
 ..to arrive later that evening back at Greenvile. |
