On Saturday morning I stood up early to ride the 300 km to
Kristiansand to take the morning speed ferry so I could ride home in one day. The speed
ferry takes two and a half hours to get to Hirsthals in Denmark. It leaves half an hour
later than the regular ferry and arrives an hour earlier in Denmark. Motorcycles don't pay
anything extra. Tie down was more complex, no help was offered except from fellow bikers.
Two small straps tied together thru the steering bars, one big strap over the saddle and
one big one thru the rear wheel, like seen on the ST did the trick:
Arrival in Denmark. Only 12 more hours to ride...
I didn't go straight home though. I spend the night at
Arjan's so I could join a local ride around Arhem.
Chasing Patricia's new BMW K1100RS with that big, hard, red,
throbbing thing between my legs along the Dutch dikes was fun, but motorcycling will never
be the same after this Norway trip. It truly is motorcycling paradise.

I hope you enjoyed this trip report. Don't forget to sign my guestbook : ).
